On December 27th, my wife and I met our new son, a gorgeous 18 month old boy who was recently made available for adoption and will be living with us full time in a couple of weeks!

His first name is Tiergan, which is Gaelic for "strong willed." We're giving him the middle name of Malcolm in memory of my dad, who died of cancer two years ago. Tiergan Malcolm Stewart means "Strong Willed" "Devotee of Saint Columba" "Keeper of the Lands".

I'll bring him in to the school for everyone to meet. You'll fall in love with him as soon as you see his endearing smile, look into his deep brown eyes and witness his incredible sense of humour!

... This is really making me want to beat my brother though. He's only two years younger than you sir, and if he doesn't get on this whole child business, I am going to be ONE UNHAPPY SISTER.
