My wife and I spend Christmas with our families in North Bay and open our own gifts early. This year, I got two gadgets I've been having a fun time playing with. First, I was happy to get a TomTom GPS system to help me find my way around (though our road isn't even on the system!) I had to laugh when I asked it to plan a route from Massey to North Bay and it gave me the obvious Hwy 17 one. When asked to give an alternate route, it suggested that I head west to Sault Ste. Marie, north to Kirkland Lake and then come down along the Quebec border. If there's ever a zombie apocolypse in Subdury but North Bay is OK, I'll know that it would take me 13.4 hours to get to North Bay via this alternate route!
My second toy is my very first iPod...a 16GB Touch. I'm already taken with the sleek interface, the fun applications and the intuitive software. Today, I'm going to keep myself busy by looking for a case for it, find my wifi password, reinstall iTunes and get an FM transmitter so that I can use it in car.
QUESTION: Does anyone have any suggestion on a good FM transmitter that I can use in the car AND in the house?

iTunes is a definite bugger to deal with. I muchly prefer using simplistic drag and drop into a folder type stuff now. (Like my wonderous mp3/movie playing watch)
As for what's hiding under my tree, I've been doing some snooping and I've discovered a new keyboard (even though I was planning on buying a fancy shmancy one from think geek, it's not bad to have 3!)
My latest tech... Haha. I'm a rich snot, so I won't name it all, but in the past few months I've bought myself an entire computer (all from parts, so that I could build it myself.), a PSP on a whim, a PS2, a sound system for my room and my previously mentioned watch.
My next purchases will be an xbox 360, PS3, a second monitor and some nice speakers for my computer.

Newest Tech thing? My wii. Best one so far is my MP3 player though...now if I could only find some stinking movies to put on it, and then those car rides with my sister won't make me want to fall into the wondrous business of murder... :3

I got a new canon digital camera for christmas, and an 6gb iPod nano for my birthday in October. Also I bought myself a new headset for skype the Saturday before christmas... And Mr. Stew - I think just about anyone'll work.
